RARC November 16th, 2022 Meeting is in Person.

Wednesday, November 16th at the Richfield Community Center, 7000 Nicollet Ave S, 55423. We will have a guest speaker, discuss winter field day, and there will be AGM batteries and 12vdc power supplies, free for the asking. December’s meeting is the week of Christmas, so it will be held on the W0RRC Discord server. Send an email to the club if you would like the invitation code. It’s free to join and there are interesting discussions on various topics.

And, as always, if you would like to take a turn as net control on a Thursday night, send us an email. It’s easy, there is a script and a supportive group of hams to help you along.

RARC October Meeting

The RARC October 19th, 2022 meeting will be this Wednesday at 7:00 pm Richfield Community Center, 7000 Nicollet Ave S, 55423. Topic to include home network and data security.

The club has received more 12 volt batteries, 2 each 17 Ah, 4 each 12 AH, and 2 each 7 Ah. Free for the asking. Also there are 120vac to 12 vdc power supplies available, in 3 or 5 amp. Again, free for the asking. w0rrc.rarc@gmail.com

PennFest will be held this year, watch for details.

Field Day June 25th, 2022

RARC will host Field Day 2022 at the Richfield Community Center, 7000 Nicolett Avenue South, Richfield, MN. We begin setup at about 9 am, operating beginning at 1 pm until sunset. The public is welcome to visit and see what amateur radio has to offer. arrl.org for more info. We will have several stations operating, with opportunity for visitors to experience amateur radio with an experienced ham.

RARC Wednesday May 18th, 2022 meeting

RARC will meet in person on Wednesday, May 18th at 7 pm at the Richfield Community Center, 7000 Nicolett ave s, Richfield, MN 55423. Topics to include Field Day 2022 planning, a field portable battery power source project and anything else that comes up.

We are looking for a railroad radio enthusiast to make a presentation on that topic as the frequencies are available on many HTs.

For field day June 25th, 2022, we will hold a one day event about 9 am to sundown, with visits from the public welcome. It is amateur radio’s day for open house. If you have an antenna or radio gear to bring, let the club know at w0rrc.rarc@gmail.com

Thursday evening net at 6:30 pm every week on the 444.475 repeater (FM) PL 118.8.
